National League Rugby Website Update + Fixture Latest
Many of you have enquired about fixtures and plans for the 2025/26 season, so here’s a brief update. (Photo Credit: John and Barbara Austin)
We are currently revamping our website ahead of the new season. Therefore, fixture updates, tables, and the like will not appear instantly on this website.
We understand clubs, players, and supporters eagerly await fixtures for the new campaign.
Our dedicated secretary has been working on the schedule, and clubs should now have received their fixtures. For specific club information, please contact your club directly while our website is being updated.
While we build our new website, we are hoping to publish the fixtures on here as well, allowing you to view them. We do expect the new fixtures, tables etc, to appear on the England Rugby website in the coming weeks, but please be patient with us.
One piece of information we can release – which relates to National One – is that there will be the opportunity for not one but two sides to be promoted to ‘Champ Rugby’ in 2o25/26.
- The winner of National 1 will be promoted to Champ Rugby, subject to them meeting the Champ Rugby Minimum Operating Standards.
- The National 1 runners-up will enter a play-off (Access Final), subject to them meeting the Champ Rugby Minimum Operating Standards.
- They will play the loser of the 12th and 13th-placed play-off in Champ Rugby for a place in Champ Rugby. The ‘Access Final’ is set to take place on a Saturday between May 9th and May 23rd 2026.
- The ‘Access Final’ will be a one-legged fixture, with the winner of the ‘Access Final’ joining the winner of National 1 in Champ Rugby.
